A day on the Conwy

So having had a busy summer at Plas Y Brenin (and not much chance to update the blog) it is now winding down for the winter. The clients numbers are slowly dwindling, the Christmas decorations are up and the tops of the mountains are covered in snow! The weather has turned from glorious sunshine and warmth until 11pm to dark, drizzle hail and biting winds.

We did manage to get out for wonderful days canoeing thought. Karl (a PYB instructor) who was writing a piece fr Canoe Focus needed some models and very kindly asked myself and some other Centre Assistants to step in. We headed to the Conwy with our canoes, and hoped on just below the bridge (we where doing the section out into the estuary) we where tandem for the day and pootled down in a few hours out to sea. I was sharing a boat with Hannah, see below for some photos of the day!
